IronZone was founded in Melbourne in 2019 by a group of dedicated Australian gamers who were frustrated by the lack of locally focused, honest game coverage. Too many reviews were written from a North American or European perspective, ignoring the unique gaming culture, community, and esports scene that had been growing rapidly across Australia.
We set out to change that. Today, IronZone is home to a team of professional reviewers, esports journalists, and tournament organisers who live and breathe gaming — and who understand what Australian players actually want to know before they invest their time in a new title.
Our editorial policy is simple: every review is written after completing the game, every score is justified with detailed criteria, and no publisher relationship ever influences our ratings.
